Background

Jill’s background is something a little unexpected for someone in this field. Knowing that she always wanted to assist people and help people she originally chose Registered Nursing as her calling. After graduating from college she enjoyed the management and patient care aspect of nursing in both the hospital and home health areas. She then decided with her husband Rich that perhaps she could use her management skills to help him start a company in a completely different career direction. She noticed right away that they were still helping people, but in a different way. It was a good fit immediately. Although she is extremely busy in the business that she runs she still maintains her nursing license and consults on a limited basis using her Nursing Degree.

Interests

Jill’s interests in the business are marketing and management. You will hear her voice when you call First Equity; and if inquiring about a mortgage she might be your first contact. Jill also focus’s her energy on team building, recruitment, and accounting. Her interests are diverse and plentiful and she has knowledge in every part of the day-to-day business. Although Jill does have her mortgage broker license it’s the day to day operations and management that keep her busy.

Affiliations

First Equity Lending is part of WAMB. The Wisconsin Association of Mortgage Brokers (WAMB) is a statewide association that is dedicated to supporting the needs of mortgage professionals. WAMB provides mortgage professionals with the ability to further themselves in their profession by offering networking, educational and political opportunities, as well as legislative and regulatory updates. The goal of WAMB is to make sure it’s members have the necessary knowledge to help consumers in Wisconsin make informed decisions.

Personal Information

Jill lives in Middleton, Wisconsin with her husband Rich. Jill and Rich live somewhat in the country where they enjoy running their two Labrador retrievers. Since buying their home in Middleton in 2004 Jill has developed a green thumb. From planting perennials to having her vegetable garden Jill keeps busy all summer long. When not gardening, you will often find Jill entertaining family and friends at their home.
