Karen comes to First Equity Lending with over 25 years of experience in the office administration arena. Besides being well versed in all types of accounting, administration and day to day operation issues she has also received a degree in Interior Design, Art, and Medical Billing.

Karen currently specializes in day to day operations at First Equity lending. Some of her job includes accounts payable; keeping First Equity organized; customer assistance, and assisting in the preparation of mortgage documents.

Affiliations

First Equity Lending is part of WAMB. The Wisconsin Association of Mortgage Brokers (WAMB) is a statewide association that is dedicated to supporting the needs of mortgage professionals. WAMB provides mortgage professionals with the ability to further themselves in their profession by offering networking, educational and political opportunities, as well as legislative and regulatory updates. The goal of WAMB is to make sure it’s members have the necessary knowledge to help consumers in Wisconsin make informed decisions.

Personal Information

Karen is a widow with three married children and has 3 beautiful granddaughters. She has lived in Portage for 32 years and is very involved in her church. Karen is considered a lifetime member of Girl Scouts and is active on both a community and council level and also with Boy Scouts and Girls Scouts committees. Currently she is remodeling her home room by room and also enjoys helping friends with their remodeling projects. She enjoys creating a new looks in rooms, crafts and making personalized wedding candles.
